Neptune Beach City Council Seat 4 Down to a Game of Chance

Duval County, Supervisor of Elections Jerry Holland is preparing for the two candidates running for Neptune Beach City Council Seat 4 to participate in a “Game of Chance” this Saturday morning at 7:30 a.m. at the Election Center, provided no military Vote by Mail ballots are returned inside the 10 day extension following the general election.
 
Following the recount concluded on Friday, November 7, 2014 the two candidates Richard Arthur and Rory Diamond are tied for the Neptune Beach City Council Seat 4. According to F.S. 101.6952 overseas military voters have a 10 day extension to return their Vote by Mail ballots by mail to the Supervisor of Elections Office. Duval County Supervisor of Elections will be at the Post Office on November 14 at 7 p.m. to receive any overseas military Vote by Mail ballots to conclude the 10 day extension.  Provided no military Vote by Mail ballots come in then the candidates will participate in a “Game of Chance” on November 15 at 7:30 a.m.  located at the Election Center, 1 Imeson Park Blvd. Building 100. The candidate who wins is the Neptune Beach City Council Seat 4 representative. 
 
Official elections results for the November 4 General Election will be signed by the canvassing board and sent to the Division of Elections concluding the winner of the Neptune Beach City Council Seat 4 race.
