DUVAL COUNTY, Supervisor of Elections Jerry Holland and the Canvassing Board met on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. to certify the May 19th General Election. The Supervisor of Elections sent certified final election results from the General Election to the Florida Division of Elections. 

The Canvassing Board, which consists of Supervisor of Elections Jerry Holland, Judge Pauline Drake and Jacksonville City Councilwoman Lori Boyer, also randomly selected the City Council District 8 race, precinct 807 for the post General Election audit that will be conducted on Thursday, May 28 at 8:00 a.m.

The certification and the audit will be conducted at the Elections Center, located at 1 Imeson Park Blvd, Building 100 Jacksonville, FL. 32218. The certification began at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 26th. The audit is schedule for Thursday, May 28 at 8:00 a.m., to be extended if necessary. The manual audit is open to the public.

Final turnout for the General Election held on May 19th, 2015 was 37.03% of all 548,237 registered voters. A total of 203,027 Ballots were cast in the General Election. For more information please call (904) 630-1414 or visit www.duvalelections.com
