PUBLIC NOTICE OF RECOUNT BY THE DUVAL COUNTY CANVASSING BOARD FOR THE AUGUST 23, 2022 PRIMARY ELECTION

JACKSONVILLE – Duval County Supervisor of Elections, Mike Hogan and the Duval County Canvassing Board would like to make the public aware of the following notice regarding a recount now ordered for the August 23, 2022 Primary Election. Please see below and attached for complete information.

Location: Election Center, 1 Imeson Park Blvd

NOTICE is hereby given that the Secretary of State has ordered a machine recount in the race of United States Representative, District 4, on August 25, 2022, the Duval County Canvassing Board will meet at 09:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 27, 2022, to conduct a recount of said race.
The recount will be open to the public.

Persons are advised that if they decide to appeal decisions made at this recount they will need a record of the proceedings and for such purpose they need to ensure a verbatim record of the proceeding is made, which includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
