Last Day to Register to Vote for the Special General Election

DUVAL COUNTY, Supervisor of Elections Jerry Holland informs citizens that Tuesday, January 20, 2015 is the last day to register to vote for the Special General Election on February 17, 2015. 
 
All registered Democrat and Republican voters in Duval County living in state House of Representatives District 13 are eligible to cast a ballot. February 17 is a general election with one Democratic candidate and one Republican candidate running for the state House seat.
 
Voters may go online to Duvalelections.com and click the Voter Status tab to learn their status. Residents may pick up a voter registration application at our downtown office, at any regional branch library, at city government offices or online. 
 
If a voter needs to update, change the address of his or her legal residence within Duval County, or submit a name change, he or she may do so up until and including Election Day, February 17, 2015.
 
Completed voter applications for new registrations or updates to a voter’s record must be received at the Supervisor of Elections Office located at 105 East Monroe Street or postmarked with book closing date, Tuesday, January 20, 2015. Monday, January 19, is a city holiday and our office will be closed.
