Last Day for Duval County Citizens to Register to Vote

DUVAL COUNTY, Supervisor of Elections Jerry Holland informs citizens that today, February 23, 2015 is the last day for citizens to register to vote for the First Unitary Election on March 24, 2015. 

Citizens must return a completed voter registration application to our Supervisor of Elections Office (105 E. Monroe Street) by 5:30 p.m. Mailed applications must be sent to our 105 East Monroe Street office and must be postmarked by February 23, 2015.

Voters can go online to Duvalelections.com and click the Voter Status tab to learn their status. Voters can pick up a voter registration application at one of our office, at any regional branch library, at city government offices or online.  If a voter needs to update his or her signature, change the address of his or her legal residence within Duval County, or submit a name change, he or she can do so up until and including Election Day, March 24, 2015.

Citizens must register at least 29 days before any election, February 23, 2015, to be eligible to vote in this First Unitary Election. The registration books must be closed on the 29th day before each election and must remain closed until after that election (F.S. 97.055{1}).
